Critical Underground Technology Infrastructure (CUTI) Project
Infrastructure Project, led by MPS Group for BHP at the Olympic Dam site, signifies a strategic initiative to fortify the technological foundation of one of Australia’s premier mining operations. This project aims to revitalise the existing critical underground infrastructure by supplementing it with newly constructed Communications Equipment Rooms (CERs).
This will allow future integration of advanced technologies to optimise operations, enhance safety measures, and promote reliability of the communications infrastructure.
MPS Group has installed 5 x Communications Rooms underground along with all supporting services and cuddy works in key areas of the mine to supplement the existing rooms.
